NASA Gets Hacked: A Reminder To Take Some Simple Precautions
Even NASA isn’t safe from hackers. It was offers for cheap Adobe software that gave hackers access to NASA and Stanford University web pages. The online attack comes as NASA is preparing for the final launch of the space shuttle Endeavour, now scheduled for May 16. Websites of NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory and a few universities were compromised in an attempt to steer traffic to the hacker’s website. What does this mean for the rest of us?
